We love our Duckworth.  It has the comforts of a small pleasure craft with the strength and agility of an excellent fishing boat.  This early edition is built like a tank with thick aluminum construction and all welded seams.  It feels sound on the choppy water with little to no flex.  Its hull runs quiet and we especially like the comfortable seating, carpeted floors and sides and bulletproof foredeck.  For a small boat, it comes equipped with plenty of storage and cubbies for equipment.

Though only designed to run the Snake River, our Duck has fished the Ocean off the Oregon Coast and will be fine in just about any body of water you care to fish. 'Happy Hour' is 33 years old and still ready for another 30+ years, if only the outboards we put on her lasted as long...

I’ve owned over 10 Jet boats. I purchased this boat as a project boat since the boat had been stored out in the weather and was in need of some TLC and complete restoration...but overall, a quality well-built boat that works great for me!

I really enjoy the ride of the boat and how it cuts through the waves out in the ocean!  There is also a ton of deck space to move around and harvest fish.  I also really like the in floor rod holder that is built into the cab!

Well-designed boat. I had the choice of a 2004 Thunderjet or a 13-year-old Duckworth, so I bought the Duckworth. Thanks for a kick ass boat.

Best boat I've ever fished out of period.

At age 66, I have owned 13 other boats in my life. As a very young man (15-16), I worked for a dealer rigging boats. I also raced them in my leisure time.  So, I know more than 'most' folks in regards to boats.  As I was crossing Lake Le Berge (Yukon Territory) by myself on a very rough day on a plane at about 30 mph, I got a smile on my face as I realized how tough my  little boat was.  It was just bam, bam, bam, bam from one big 5' wave to the next for near 40 miles. And that little Duck did not groan, moan, creak, shudder or wince. I did not feel the need to let off the throttle (baby the boat) at all. This little experiment proved how STRONG this 33-year-old boat really is. I do not have a trace of buyer’s remorse.

This is my first Duckworth. I have found it to be a very high-quality, well-designed boat. I've owned several other brands of Northwest aluminum boats and am the most pleased with my Duckworth, due to its flexibility and quality.

It is comfortable, dependable, and feels very safe in all kinds of weather.
