Anthony Marrese has been a voracious fisherman since day one. Born and raised in Bellevue, Washington, he has honed his skills as an angler in every season of life. At age eight he took an eight foot Livingston with a six horsepower Mercury two stroke out on Lake Washington every single day, because his mother said he had to be older than seven before he could have a boat with an engine. Anthony would bomb around the canals of Newport Shores, around Mercer Island and the south end of Lake Washington on an endless hunt for anything that bit. During those trips, Anthony always admired a boat in the canal that had nice lines, a heavy-duty build, and seemed like a boat you could really go places in. Turns out, it was a Duckworth. Fast forward a few decades, Anthony walked into 3 Rivers Marine looking to buy his first boat and made sure it was a Duckworth.

After graduating with a degree in Biology from Central Washington University, Anthony cut his teeth as a guide across the West, on the Yakima river for trout, Columbia basin for smallmouth, and on the Klickitat for steelhead, as well as in Colorado in Rocky Mountain National Park, the Roaring Fork valley, and the Front Range. Now running High Peaks Representation, Anthony sells fishing tackle to retailers throughout the United States, and provides media that promotes brands and manufacturers that share his passion for fish and the water they call home. As a new father to a little boy who LOVES the water, Anthony only trusts Duckworth for his wife, son, and grandparents because of the quality of construction, durability, and safety features across all designs. He currently captains a 24 Pacific Pro throughout the sound and off the coast, whether for his business or to catch Kings and crab with his family and friends. After a day on the water, Anthony loves nothing more than to cook up a fantastic meal with his “gifts from the sea,” as he lovingly calls his daily catch (on his regular menu: Alderwood grilled salmon, seafood paella, and sage and browned butter rockfish).

The host of 3 Rivers Marine podcast, Anthony is passionate about sharing his wealth of experience with the world. Always quick with a laugh, and quicker to grab a line, Anthony is proud to own and operate a Duckworth day in, day out, and for every day to come.
