Dan Myers’ life has always been defined by the water and a deep-rooted call to serve others. Raised on Henley’s Silver Lake resort, Dan’s passion for fishing began at a young age. Far more than just a hobby, his childhood was an immersive education in fisheries and conservation, where he actively helped raise trout and release them each spring. This early connection to the environment laid the foundation for a lifelong dedication to the waters of the Pacific Northwest.
Driven by a desire to help others on a global scale, Dan answered the call of duty and joined the United States Marine Corps. His time in the military reinforced his core values of discipline, leadership, and service to country—values that continue to guide him today.
After completing his service, Dan channeled his love for the outdoors and his commitment to his community into founding HuntfishPNW , a premium outdoor guide service. For Dan, HuntFishPNW is more than a charter business; it is a platform for philanthropy and regional conservation. He launched the *Chartering for Conservation* initiative, actively donating trips to help raise vital funds for local food banks and homeless shelters. Recognizing the immense sacrifices made by those on the front lines, Dan also regularly hosts local first responders for dedicated days on the water, providing them with much-needed rest and relaxation.
Central to his operations today is his new Duckworth 30XL. Dan absolutely loves this vessel, viewing it as the ultimate tool to share his passion for the water with his family, lifelong friends, and clients alike—providing them all with a safe, top-tier experience on the rugged waters of the Pacific Northwest.
When he isn’t navigating the Salish Sea or advocating for local salmon habitat restoration, Dan is a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. Whether mentoring the next generation of anglers or working collaboratively with regional fisheries, Dan remains steadfast in his mission to protect the PNW’s natural resources and support the community he calls home.
